Belfast, Northern Ireland (World Wide Gamble) - Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez recalled striker Warren Feeney in hopes of pulling off an upset over England in a World Cup qualifier over the weekend.

Feeney lacks top-level experience playing for Stockport County, which plays in the third level of English football. However, Sanchez made the decision on the fact that Feeney has a knack for the finding the back of the net. He has tallied 17 goals this season for his club.

Northern Ireland is in fourth place of the UEFA Group 6 table with just three points through four matches.

The Northern Ireland roster for the England match is:

GOALKEEPERS:

Roy Carroll (Manchester United)

Maik Taylor (Birmingham)

DEFENDERS:

Mark Williams (Rushden and Diamonds)

Stephen Craigan (Motherwell)

Colin Murdock (Crewe)

Aaron Hughes (Newcastle)

Mark Clyde (Wolverhampton)

Chris Baird (Southampton)

Tony Capaldi (Plymouth)

George McCartney (Sunderland)

MIDFIELDERS:

Damien Johnson (Birmingham)

Jeff Whitley (Sunderland)

Tommy Doherty (Bristol City)

Chris Brunt (Sheffield)

Steven Davis (Aston Villa)

Keith Gillespie (Leicester)

Phil Mulryne (Norwich)

FORWARDS:

Steve Jones (Crewe)

Stuart Elliott (Hull)

Andrew Smith (Preston)

Andrew Kirk (Northampton)

David Healy (Leeds)

Warren Feeney (Stockport)
